Academic Scholarships

At CHILD International we manage a variety of scholarship programs to honor our donors’ charitable intentions and help our community thrive. Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer grants that allow us to meet community needs by providing financial assistance for tuition, books, school supplies and computers to new and continuing college students now and in the future.  Our mission has always rested on the notion that change begins with advocacy for the lives and opportunities of displaced or economically disenfranchised children and teens. Therefore, we have initiated our scholarship programs in support of educational opportunities for children as well as young adults seeking higher education.

Noushin Scholarship Fund

Establishment of Noushin Scholarship Fund in honor of late Noushin Tarbrizi took place in January 2016 and is now set as a permanent and ongoing program to assist underprivileged students with their educational needs. This program is designated to provide financial assistance for underprivileged college students for their educational needs. The funds are awarded to underprivileged high school and college students after a thorough review of each grant applications.

Black Lives Scholarship Fund

CHILD International, throughout its entire existence, has taken every action with a quest for justice, equality and fairness in society. This effort has always included a call to action against any system or belief which makes equality impossible. We stand firmly in these convictions, and grieve hand-in-hand with groups whose rights are systematically displaced and stand unequivocally and proudly with the unshakable conviction that Black Lives Matter. We hear you and stand with you.

Our mission has always rested on the notion that change begins with advocacy for the lives and opportunities of displaced or economically disenfranchised children and teens. Therefore, we are initiating a scholarship program in support of black lives, and in particular, in support of educational opportunities for teens and children.
