Collecting used bicycles & helmets in Orange county, Los Angeles county and San Diego. The event resulted over $15,000 in contributions and benefited many children in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties.

- OC AIDS Walk, June 4, 2006 & June 5, 2005 – Thousands of dollars were raised by C.H.I.L.D. and friends in 2005 and 2006 for the AIDS Services Foundation (ASF). ASF helps those living with HIV/AIDS as well as providing education and prevention services.
- 2006 Norouz Fashion Show Benefit Event, March 12, 2006 – Celebration of Norouz, featuring Shahla Dorriz couture show; special guest appearances; Middle Eastern Art auction; art, jewelry, and fashion for sale; Middle Eastern cuisine; and presentation of CHILD & IOC education projects in Afghanistan and Turkey.

- Pakistan-Kashmir Earthquake Relief Fundraiser, November 6, 2005 (PDF)
Fundraiser luncheon held at Darya Restaurant to raise funds for relief aid and shipment of medical supplies to the thousands of people affected by the October 8th quake that devastated northern Pakistan and Kashmir.
- Hurricane Katrina Food Drive, September 2005 (PDF)
Joint effort by CHILD and Second Harvest Food Bank of OC to collect and donate food, water, paper and plastic goods to Katrina survivors.
- Backpack & School Supply Drive for Mexico, August 2005 (PDF)
in collaboration with Corazon de Vida, hundreds of backpacks stuffed with personal and educational supplies plus toys and candy provided for the children of Asociación Para Los Niños Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

Benefit featuring Shahla Dorriz couture; auction of art & fashion; and presentation of CHILD programs and the work of Chernobyl Hearts in Chernobyl, Belarus.

Salon Papillon offers 100% of proceeds from haircuts and 20% of proceeds from product sales to CHILD education, hunger relief, shelter, and health programs.
